Public meetings to stop

Dear Friends, We are really sad to say that our public meetings at Hall Green will stop from today onwards for a time. This is response to the government advice for places of worship to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Do not despair. We will still be producing material that we trust will encourage you and bless your heart. The live services will continue on YouTube every Sunday at 10:30am and 6:00pm. These will be slightly shorter but we will continue to teach the Word of God and equip ourselves in that way. As Elders we met together tonight to talk about how we will support everyone over this challenging time and between the various social media platforms and a couple of other new ventures it is hoped that we might have opportunity to still pray together and have some discussional Bible studies, all done virtually. We will be working on getting those up and running over the next few days. More information to follow. The church holiday has been cancelled and all those who have paid any money will receive a full refund. Obviously, there will be more call to use our phones and to keep praying for one another so if there is anything we can particularly do to help you then please let us know. Please remember to call each other and show love in that way. This is not the end of the story of course. Firstly, this is temporary measure put in place which we will review regularly and our hope is that very soon we will be back together physically and rejoicing at God’s kindness. But it is not the end of the story in a fuller sense too. The Lord Jesus has promised to be with us to the end of the age and the promise of a future land of pure delight together in his presence encourages us to look up and live in hope. Let’s pray together that God uses this to humble us as his people, to increase our faith and to call many to put their trust in him rather than the empty things of this world. God bless,
