Life in the 'gap'

The world is not as God intended it to be and it's not as we'd like it to be. Neither are we like we're supposed to be – our attitudes, actions, thoughts and deeds are all contaminated by sin. Yet like trees we are called to bear fruit of godliness in every aspect of our lives.

The Bible says we are to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world to bring glory to our Father in heaven. We often find this gap between how we desire to live and how we actually live unsettling; we sense this 'gap' and fear we've lost direction. We're convicted of sin, temptation, jealousy and resentment and we're plagued by guilt. But it’s what we do in these 'gap' moments that really matters. To whom do we turn?
